Day 1402: Obligatory selfie.

Because you don't get invited to parliament everyday and have opportunity to take a selfie with first female speaker of parliament of Nepal Rt. Hon. Onsari Gharti Magar

Day 1406 - Party Animal

A creative bundle of joy, Ojaswi Singh, a baby sister for Oneek arrived safely in our lives on Friday, 15 April 2016 at 3.15 AM weighing 3.26 Kg. She is bound to be a party animal as she likes coming out in the small hours at the weekends.

Both mum and baby are doing fine and I'm sleeping well(so far), if you are asking.

Day 1395 - Happy New Year(again)

As most of the Nepalis are celebrating new year today and for next few days, I would like to share two slides of my presentation that I presented last year at a different new year celebration. One slide shows the different types of new year celebration in Nepal and other shows the relevance of few. We all are free to choose what we like but lets remember there isn't just one. Respect all. Enjoy and celebrate everyday like a new year!

Happy new year, all!

Day 1385 – Cordial Invitation

‘MCC is hosting Nepal Cricket team with a Cricket match at Lord’s in London during summer.’

‘Nepal Cricket Team’, ‘MCC’, ‘Cricket Match’, ‘Lord’s’, ‘London’ and ‘summer’ so many exciting words in one sentence. But it’s true and its happening for real on 19 July 2016.

Anyone who loves these exciting words should invite themselves and their friends and families to this brilliant day out.

Please accept my sincere apologies for my rusty Facebook skills for inviting to the event and then cancelling the event. No, the event hasn’t been cancelled, just that I have been blocked by the Facebook from inviting anyone, for being too clever. Doh! So, please share and invite as many people as you can. Lord's can host up to 28000 people, lets see how many people we can get in this event.

Day 1382: Cultural appropriation

If you have got enough hair, if you have patience to grow it long enough and if you have tolerance to go through all the hassle that goes with it - I don't care what ethnicity you are of, you can do #dafuk with your hair you want.

How can you claim that Rastafarian hairstyle is only of Afro-carrabean origin and relate it ONLY to the movement that took place in 1930s. Hindu babas have been having such hairstyle since the beginning of Hinduism.

I have no evidence to support this but I also believe that this hairstyle was glamourised during hippie era in Nepal when people from all over the world traveled here to enjoy the puff of #Ganja. Ganja is not Jamaican word and it's not a slang, it's a Sanskrit word.

I don't happen to be a great fan of Justin Bieber but well done to him for trying out what he wants with his hair, while he can.

Day 1378 - Radiant Reflection

The bigger this boy grows, the more I can relate myself to him. He shows glimpses of my own behaviour, my characteristics, my awkwardness, my forwardness and sometimes my childishness. In true sense, he is my reflection. But, where did he get better looks than mine, I'll never know.
