Day 1521 : The day of entry to heaven
'Celebrations of Death in Kathmandu Valley - Sāpāru( Sāyāh) - Gai Yaatra'
Sāpāru( Sāyāh) is the day when Yama, lord of Death opens the gate of his kingdom for those deceased during the past year. It is in fact the greatest celebration in the valley of Kathmandu, where no sacrifices are bought to the gods because it seems that death itself is the ultimate sacrifice.
In Kathmandu, all families in which death has occurred the past year, send out decorated boys with a picture of a cow covering their head. Ideally, live cow should be sent in the procession but there are only few families who can afford to do so.
Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, patan, Sankhu, and kirtipur all celebrate this festival in their own different ways but the similar procession is sent out by the families in which death has occurred in the past year.

As I walk through the front door quite chuffed about my new hair style and an obligatory chat with the hairdresser, Oneek sees me, first he makes his usual disapproving face and says, 'Daddy, you look funny with that short hair!'.
Well, thank you but no thank you - I'm not taking any fashion tips from you. Not yet, anyway.

Day 1512: I don't like Jose Mourinho
But I absolutely love the fact that some deluded Chelsea fans are being sad already as if he has won the premier league with United. It might be equal to winning premier league for their part of the world but it's only Community shield for Man United. Exactly the same thing as David Moyes won in this first game so please don't make it look like something which it remotely isn't. And with Pogba back for record £89M in the team if Maureen doesn't win a premier league this season he will be shown the door straight away. It's not Chelsea where he will be loved like a god. We have our own gods and lots of them, too. To be counted as them Maureen still has to put in much more work and deliver.

In last 16 years, with Pasa Puchah Guthi we have learnt, unlearnt and relearnt so many things. We have achieved immense height and produced many scintillating works. In the most decorated history of guthi we are proud to add one more glittering milestone and present to you the first Nepali Animated movie, Shankhadaryaa Baakha in the UK.
The brilliant team at Yantrakala has put together a music video with incredible hard-work, invincible talent and inundated passion sprinkled with lots of love. And, we are going to release it today at Seminar Room 4th Floor, Lambeth Wing, St. Thomas’ Hospital, King’s College London, London SE1 7EH at 3.00 PM.
